General FAQ's
What can you do with my rusty gun?

We have had many people ask us what we can do to repair/restore firearms that have for whatever reason ended up with significant rust.  We feel the best way to answer that question is to do so with some before and after photos, as they say it with far more accuracy than we can ever do.  Probably one of the worst looking items we have received and took both before and after pictures of, was an accessory slug barrel to a Remington 1100 Shotgun.  Found in the back of a truck after a family member's death, it had seen better days.  Take a look!

If you look really close you can see the results of rust pitting after refinishing, but you really need to know where to look.  We think it works and the stipple helps to diffuse the entire effect.
