Heirloom Restorations One of the services offered by Custom Digital Designs is what we call "Heirloom Restorations", by which we are referring to those weapons found in may families which have more sentimental value than intrinsic or collector value. These are grandpa's old shotgun, the pistol dad picked up in Europe during the war, most of which have their share of digs, scratches, sometimes some rust, and finish wear. What we will do is to completely strip the weapon, sand blast and reparkerize metal surfaces, and provide a painted "gun blue" that will enhance and protect the firearm for many generations to come. The pictures are of a Diamond Arms Co., Sharpleigh's King Nitro, 1905 Patented, 12 gauge Double Barreled "Coach" Shotgun. Except for a worn safety, it was in excellent mechanical condition, but with a lot of finish wear, some dings, and dents and scratches in the stocks. The pictures below show the results:
